Pokémon 'Pitch Black' Pre-Order Guidelines
We are incredibly excited for the upcoming Pokémon Pitch Black release! Because demand is incredibly high and stock is limited, we want to ensure these products get into the hands of our awesome local community. To keep things fair and combat scalping, we are running a Manual, Weighted Pre-order for this release.
THE RULES AT A GLANCE
- Register for a ticket (CLICK HERE)
- In-Store Collection Only: We will not be shipping any pre-order items. If you cannot collect in person, please do not enter.
- Pay on Collection: No upfront payment required. You will pay when you pick up your items.
- One Entry Per Person: Duplicate entries under different emails/names will be disqualified entirely.
- ID Required: The name on your pre-order form entry must match the photo ID / Payment Card Name you present when collecting your order.
- You must both register for a ticket on our website and complete this application form to enter.
Items Available for Pre-Order: All Pre-orders are limited to 1 Item per customer.
- Pitch Black Booster Bundle (This item contains 6 Booster packs)
PRIORITISING OUR COMMUNITY
We love our regulars and we want to make sure the players and collectors who support our shop week-in and week-out get taken care of. To do this we are using a weighted ticket system.
Everyone gets a baseline of 1 point for entering but you can earn additional points in the draw by filling out this form, These additional points are added automatically no need for you to do anything else, for each criteria met you can gain:
- +1 if you are an active member of our Discord server. (*must have been a member for at least 2 months*)
- +1 if you have placed a pre-order with us in the last 3 months.
- +1 if you regularly attend our in-store Pokemon League events.
- +1 if you have attended one of our Pitch Black Pre-release events
*Note: All bonus entries will be manually cross-referenced with our tournament software and store backend before the draw*
TIMELINE & PROCESS
Pre-Order Open: Sunday 5th July
Pre-Order Closes: Sunday 12th July
The Draw: Winners will be drawn manually and notified via email by Wednesday 15th July.
Collection Window: Winners will have until Friday 24th July to collect their product. Any uncollected items after this time will be offered to the runners-up.
Note on collection: if you are successful in securing a pre-order but unable to collect during the given window or due to health conditions you will have the option to select a later collection date or trusted person to collect on your behalf.
*Note: We understand the concern towards Scalping and Bots, in the current market this is in many ways unavoidable online, as are similar issues we still see in person. One of the aims of moving pre-orders online is to allow for a more comprehensive filtering of pre-orders while increasing accessibility for participating customers.*
